Waterlust

I've worn this sun shirt three days in a row for full days in the sun (kayaking, boating, and tubing) from 9am to 4pm and not a trace of sun on my shoulders, neck, chest, or arms! With other tops I've had a bit of sun get through on the tops of my shoulders and not a bit with this beauty. When I first put it on I was worried that the hood was a little small and might be restricting, but it worked out great and provided freat sun protection. The light blue was nice and cool in the sun, and whenever I got warm paddling I would just splash a little lake water on and got nice and cool. The generous thumb holes allowed me to cover the entire tops of my hands (I'm short, 5'1" with not super long arms ) so even my hands were protected by the sun.
I wear a 36D and went for a small size which is tight across the chest but stayed put swimming which was the goal. If I weren't swimming in it I might have sized up to a medium for a more roomy fit, but the small stayed put over leggings swimming in a lake.

I happened to stumble upon this company through an ad and loved the designs, even more so that I recognized one of the models for the whale shark collection (I recognized her from the videos I’ve seen from her Instagram page about being a shark biologist). When I got the whale shark swim suit (this top and the 8 inch shorts) I was so excited and it fit perfectly and could not stop showing my boyfriend the reversible pattern (and the pockets). Would recommend for those who love the ocean as the designs are absolutely adorable, and puts a bit toward the conservation of the inspiration for the individual designs.

like others have said, wide back leads to some gapping but i’ve had no problem with straps falling off. i’m pretty square shaped, 5’3 and 34/26/35 and the XS fits perfectly, glad i didn’t go with the S!

I like this top so much I bought it in the Whale Shark, Eagle Ray, and Parrot Fish patterns. It’s often difficult to find string bikini tops that don’t tie behind your neck and pull! These are comfortable for all day wear. Waterlust fabric is already thicker than most swim wear, but if you prefer to also put in some thin foam cups for extra shaping or modesty, there are openings built into the tops along the sides where you could slide them in.

I did not want to love this top nearly as much as I do, but good grief they were not kidding when they said they had been doing their research into quality cuts and fabrics. To have a triangle bikini top that doesn't slide along the waistband is fantastic for one, but for another to have one that has the perfect amount of coverage, feels supportive, doesn't create bulges, survives the breast stroke and yoga stretch test without moving....get outta here! I'm a 34-36 D-DD depending on who's counting and I did have to exchange my original Medium for a Large, just due to breast coverage really, but damn if this isn't the perfect top. I've purchased the high and low rise bottoms and cropped rash guard and they've all been the best fitting and feeling swim apparel I can remember purchasing. From Spotted Eagle Ray to Spotted Eagle Bae! And the proceeds go to MOTE! (And who doesn't love MOTE?!)

I was trying to decide between the classic bikini and high waisted bikini. The classic bikini is definitely a smaller cut in the bottom than I usually wear but the fabric is such that it stays in place. Not too much is showing from the rear. True to size. Pattern is beautiful. Another fantastic product from Waterlust.

I am very excited to be able to wear this snorkeling and swimming. It fits like a glove and I feel confident that it won't fall down during my water activities.

I am a Florida girl & very active. This suit is amazing. I have been waiting so long for them to make bikinis after I fell in love with their other activewear but this one might be one of the best products yet and if you have never had this pattern - oh my word, it’s so vibrant & gorgeous!! I wear a 32c , 135 lbs, 5 ft 7 in - I got the regular bottoms with this top (not high rise) and I absolutely love it all! Thank you Waterlust!!! 🩵 🩷 💚

Parrotfish are so beautiful and this print is my favorite from the waterlust crew. I love this bikini top! Since my...watermelons...are big, I was worried the top wouldn't fit. But it fits great! It's adjustable and that makes it perfect for the pool to the beach!

My sweet partner born in the Midwest has only adopted marine exploration since he started dating me, at this point in my life simply a citizen marine scientist. His Waterlust gear has always performed exceptionally….even up to his high standards as an engineer. I’m not usually one to write reviews, but I went out of my way to write a review for this swimsuit. Immediately pulling it out of the mailing envelope I was amazed to see plastic-free packaging. The swimsuit is perfect, it feels thick and strong yet is moveable and flexible. I’m honestly blown away!!

I've ordered other products from Waterlust and followed their recommended size guide. I'm 120lbs / 5'5" / 38"hip and the size Small fits perfectly! The fit and shape held up well after a full day in the pool too.

Bought these for a kayak fishing trip to a mangrove lagoon in Baja. Was looking for comfortable and form fitting leg protection for being on the water all day. These leggings worked fantastically well. Kept my legs from getting burned and were super comfortable when using my Hobie pedal kayak. They also worked very well when I beached the kayak and walked while sight fishing the flats. I was right in the middle of the size chart between medium and large, so I ordered both in case the medium was too tight. Medium size stretched well and was not overly tight. So pleased instead of returning the large, I exchanged for another medium. The exchange process was extremely easy. Great product!

I normally don’t write reviews for items that I’ve purchased but this suit deserves shining feedback. Not only is the Whale Shark design beautiful but the fabric is very substantial and good quality as well as the suit’s construction. I struggle to remember to reapply my sunscreen and this suit was a perfect solution. I wore it all day out on a boat and had gotten in and out of the water with no sun damage to my skin. I’m 5’ 9”, 157lbs, bra size 36 DD with an athletic hourglass shape and I was extremely impressed with the fit. I used the fitting guide for sizing and it was spot on it recommended a medium. I’m recommending these suits to everyone I know!
