I LOVE this suit!

My local indoor pool keeps the water temp very cold in the winter. I was looking for a solution to the frigid temps when I saw this long sleeve suit. Perfect! I had to wait a while for delivery because the suit was on back order. When it arrived I was so happy! It is absolutely beautiful. The colors are fantastic. The material is thick. The suit has little details that make it even better - thumb holes on each sleeve and a zipper pull on the back.

One note, the neck is a tiny bit snug.

Love the feel and fit

I love the feel and fit of the suit. My only recommendation is that the string be longer. It is just short a few inches for me to reach it!

Amazing!

I’m a swim lesson instructor and this suit has saved my life! It fits true to size and I don’t have to worry about getting too cold while rotating between warm and cold water pools. I love that it is 100% chlorine proof, worth the money!

Watch out for DHL

I love my order. I got a lot of pieces and all of the colours are just as vivid in person and the material feels durable, like it will last a long time. However, this company ships with DHL and came with a whopping surprise bill at the border (over $100!!!) I beg Waterlust to use different curriers. I am definitely glad I got one of everything and don’t plan on buying anything else if it’s going to cost more for shipping than the actual products.
Sizing note: I am between a small and medium and got the small. It fits everywhere but the shoulders. I am hoping in the water it will loosen up enough to be comfortable. It’s not horrible, just annoying haha. Would size up if you are a bit more muscular in the shoulders.

Very comfortable and good looking

I bought the suit and the matching leggings because I do a lot of open water swimming, and I needed jellyfish protection. The size chart was accurate; I'm 5'5", 145 lbs, athletic build, and I got a Large. Just as with a wetsuit, I need to use Bodyglide or other endurance skin lubricant to protect from neck chafing. I also add 1" x 5" velcro-closing elastic bands to tighten the cuffs (skinny wrists) to reduce drag. The color makes me smile when I wear it, and a friend also said it's less likely to be appealing to sharks, because it looks like water, not like a seal! Definitely recommend.

ADVOCATE APPAREL INSPIRED BY THE reflection of light off the surface of the sea

SUSTAIN laboratory logo

It's well known that over 70% of Earth's surface is covered with water, but did you realize this impacts the flow of heat and energy around the world? Water has a specific heat value, a material property that describes how much energy is required to heat it, that is approximately four times greater than air. This means that air will heat and cool much faster than water. Because of this, the air and sea are often interacting at different temperatures and exchanging energy.

The study of air-sea interaction is critical to understanding the life cycle of a tropical cyclone. As a storm develops it can strengthen or weaken depending on the available energy it can extract from the ocean's surface. The processes that drive this energy exchange are extremely complex and are the topic of ongoing scientific research. At the Alfred C. Glassell Jr. SUSTAIN Laboratory at the Rosenstiel School of Marine & Atmospheric Science, scientists utilize a state of the art wind/wave tank to better understand these intricacies. 10% of your purchase will be donated to support the graduate students that work in this lab. Specifically, the funds will be used for creative projects that enable the students to communicate their work to the broader public such as through film, photography and art.
