Gorgeous material

This sun suit is gorgeous…the pattern, the colors, and the material. It is a thick nylon style fabric that feels like a thick second skin…it’s luxurious! My only reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars, is that I had hoped that the material would be a bit more compressive, to flatter the figure more. Also, the rear is more high cut than I prefer. Finally, the sleeves are long (& I have long arms). Despite these small items, this remains a lovely item, and well worth the $$$!

Too small 3x is more like 18 to 20 W

3X is not fitting me. Bra too small pants too. Normally 22-24 bathing suit. My first outfit to start training...only thing that fit is the Scrunchy. Beautiful fabric and design though. More like an 18 to 20 womens. Returning all 4 pieces

My sister swims in the ocean every day. She used to go in just booties and gloves but wanted something to help keep her warm (that isn’t quite a wetsuit) so we got her this top.
She LOVES IT. It looks amazing. The sizing was bang on. She noted that she loved the way the pattern flatters her shape. She got this top and the bottoms and was dancing from excitement when she put them on. She takes underwater videos so maybe she will feature the suit. @stelladelmare

Love it!

Fits really well. Love the quality. Only thing I would change is having a thicker/more significant pull cord in the back.

Beautiful suit with amazingly bright colors and thick material. Recently wore this during a live aboard dive trip to the Red Sea. The suit was super comfortable and I felt I was truly protected from the sun in between dives. It did make it easier to don a 5mm wetsuit through the torso and arms. My only complaint was that the suit did not dry very quickly post dive. This was not an issue on this trip since the air temperature was about 82 F (28 C), but I am not sure I would be warm post dive in cooler air temperatures. Overall, I am super happy with my sun suit and am trying to decide which print I want to purchase next.

ADVOCATE APPAREL INSPIRED BY The sassy sea snail

Abalone is the common name for a variety of marine snails that are found throughout the world’s oceans. Sought after for their meat and their beautiful shells, populations have declined rapidly and some species are now critically endangered. Our relationship with abalone illustrates the challenges of overexploitation of the marine environment. Until the 1980’s, it was widely thought that abalone populations were resilient and could effectively rebound from harvesting activities. Unfortunately, that has not proven to be true.

Abalone are “broadcast spawners,” meaning that two individuals must be within three feet of one another to sexually reproduce. This type of reproduction makes population recovery very challenging, driving the need for humans to intervene. Marine biologist Nancy Caruso is doing just that, and founded Get Inspired, a non-profit organization that specializes in marine conservation & education.

Besides physically growing juvenile abalone along California’s coast and populating them back into the coastal kelp forest marine habitat, Nancy recognizes that protecting the ocean in the future requires educating children today. That is why she has launched a 10 year initiative to grow 100,000 abalone in classrooms across the golden state and restore them along the southern California coast, inspiring and utilizing the help of the next generation of scientists along the way. 10% of profits from your purchase will be donated to this restoration effort.
