The interface where air and water meet is a magical place, the physical crossroad where terrestrial and aquatic life on Earth interact. But not only is it our gateway to the submerged, the water's surface is also where heat is transferred to and from the atmosphere. Imagine this energy flowing through you the next time you float suspended between these two worlds.

Advocate Apparel Inspired by coastal resiliency

Approximately 40% of humans on Earth live within 100km of the ocean and currently 190 million people globally live at elevations below the projected high tide line for 2100 under low carbon emission conditions. In other words, the water is coming and we need to prepare!

Coastal resiliency is a term used to describe the ability of a community to “bounce back" after hazardous events such as hurricanes, coastal storms, and flooding – rather than simply reacting to impacts, and it is becoming one of the most important fields of study in science & engineering.

"The SUSTAIN laboratory's collaboration with Waterlust has been a great way to engage students in outreach. So many of them at all levels are interested in bringing our research on hurricanes and climate resilience to the general public. I also often show some of the Waterlust videos in my classes to highlight to the students how engaging this work can be when presented in an interesting way."

This is a VERY study top. Because it's double sided, the fabric is THICK. I'm definitely not worried about it falling apart anytime soon
The size was a little tighter than I expected. I'm a dress size 20-22 and a 40DD bra, so I ordered the 3x size. It's a bit of a struggle to get it on over my shoulders/chest, but once it's there it feels comfortable and study. Unlike most swim tops I've used, my girls are not moving ANYWHERE while swimming xD
This will definitely be my go-to top for any active swimming/snorkeling, but probably not for casual swims or quick dips

Perfect!!

Got these tops (whale shark and sun kissed) to go snorkelling in the Galapagos. I wore these under a rash guard and I was wearing a shortie wetsuit . I am 5 foot 3 Bust is 42" and under bust is 38" - the XXL was perfect size. Very comfortable!! When wet it was a (not quite) a challenge to get off so it is not going anywhere. I can see wearing these all summer while going Kayaking under a rash shirt (I burn very easily). Will be nice for swimming.

Very comfortable, very revealing though!

I love this top! It's super comfortable, fits perfectly, and I love that it's reversible. It's the perfect length/compression to be worn as a top or as a bra (for A/B cups, as others have said). However, there is NO modesty - you can see EVERYTHING through the fabric. I usually feel like I have to wear a swimsuit under this, which is unfortunate because it would be perfect to wear on its own but you can 100% see my nipples. I wish they had added just a little bit of padding for modesty. I got a "strong" and my measurements are accurate to the sizing guide.

Sparkly seas

Fit is great. I like the sturdy feel of the material while it still flows and stretches wonderfully. I like the print and I feel it’s very important that it is made of recycled materials and my purchase supports a cause I believe in. If there is such a thing as conscious consumerism, this is it for me.

Obsessed

I rarely review things but this is my favorite top I have ever owned. It is so worth the price. Fit me PERFECTLY. I ordered a small. I’m 5’3”, 120lbs, size 32B bra. SUPER soft and stretchy material. Love that it’s reversible so it’s like two tops in one. Already got so many compliments on it. Amazing for hiking or swimming in the sea. Looks great with high waist anything. Highly recommend!

This is thick and well made! But top runs small so order one size up! Colors are true to picture.
