Fits well but almost lost it!

The band fits well and did keep the hair away from my dive mask and out of my face. Luckily when I came up, I saw that it almost slipped back off my head as I was taking my mask off. I know now to be careful. Love the design. Thanks!

Headband

I bought two headbands and love them.

Very cute, too slippery

Love the idea of using fabric scraps for cute headbands, but this kind of fabric just doesn't work for holding hair in place. Maybe if they added a little non-slip silicone strip or something it would work. Now I'm looking for ideas for repurposing it.

Pretty but slippery

Headbands usually slide off my head so I shouldn't be surprised that this one does too. However, it falls off almost immediately because the fabric is so slick. The print is really beautiful, but I wish there was some kind of rubber gripping or something so it would stay put better. Whale shark print is very pretty.

Perfect!

Bought this to hold hair back during scuba dives - have yet to wear it diving but is super comfy. This doesn't pull hair and the style, fit is perfect, not to mention the colors POP.

I bought these to keep my hair out of my face under a bike helmet - Stayed in place better than one I bought to keep my hair out of my face when snorkeling in Hawaii. I need to order a few more!

Recycled Headband Made From Pre-Consumer Waste

Environmental Impact

Every time we make clothing from a roll of fabric, there are some “scraps” that get left behind. This lonely material, known as “pre-consumer” waste, contributes significantly to the environmental footprint of clothing. Enter headbands! Made from the leftover recycled material used for our leggings, our headbands are quick drying, moisture wicking and breathable while also enabling us to reduce our pre-consumer waste.

Updated design for less slip and added versatility. Wide width (3”) to protect your hair from your mask while diving, or to soak up that extra sweat from your most killer workouts.

Materials: 88% Repreve® RPET (recycled polyester made from post-consumer plastic bottles), 12% spandex

Made from fabric remnants

Industry-wide it’s estimated that 15-20% of fabric used to make clothing is discarded as pre-consumer waste, and although we use some nifty approaches to maximize the efficiency of our garment’s patterns, we still have some leftover. These headbands are our way of reducing the amount of pre-consumer waste we create when we cut our garments out of our recycled fabric. The process goes like this:
