The unique scalation on their carapace, flippers and head makes the sea turtle a geometric wonder of patterns and colors. Our print features the earthy tones of Chelonia mydas, commonly known as the green sea turtle, a mysterious and charismatic nomad of tropical and subtropical seas around the planet.

Advocate Apparel Inspired by the green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas)

A solitary species that rarely interacts with others outside of mating rituals, sea turtles struggle to survive from the day they hatch out of their egg. Sea turtle mortality rates are depressingly high, about 99% of juveniles will meet their demise before reaching sexual maturity.

6 out of the 7 species of sea turtles are listed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) as either vulnerable or critically endangered. Marine turtles are threatened by pollution, marine plastics and debris, climate change, boat strikes, poaching and bycatch, and habitat loss.

These are the best!

I love the beach but can’t take the sun so long sleeve and long pant bathing suits are essential. I’ve owned many and these are by far the best. I ordered the mantis shrimp and loved them so much I went back and ordered more for myself and ordered a pair for my daughter. They are well made, comfortable, quick drying and very flattering. The patterns are also super unique. I will definitely be placing another order.

High Quality

These are a tick material that feels great. A little long for short legs but otherwise 5stars!

Hi Raine,

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review! In case you missed this feature, I wanted to provide some information on how to customize the inseam length of your new leggings!

All of our leggings are designed with a raw hem and internally stitched bar-tacks that allow you to customize your inseam to lengths of 31”, 29”, 27”, 25”, and 23”. Here is a video that gives a step by step on how to do it if you would like to adjust the leggings to better fit your body! https://waterlust.com/pages/faq#reamaze#0#/kb/product-information/how-do-i-adjust-the-length-or-inseam-of-my-leggings

If you have any further questions about customizing your leggings or about our gear in general, please don't hesitate to shoot us a message at hello@waterlust.com. Thanks again!

Love it!

I was unsure on sizing and they assisted me in picking the right size when I emailed. I love that it has pockets and the matching top is supportive.

Good and warm

They look great, though I wish I had ordered 1 size up. I wore them paddling on a cold day and they were just the thing!
