I have been eyeing these for quite a while, and was very excited to get them as an early holiday present. I wanted to give them 1,000 stars, because I love how they're made and the fact that they give back to causes I am passionate about. On first impressions, I DO think they're worth the money. I am usually a size M or L in yoga leggings (size 8/10 in Lucky jeans, size M in Balance Collection and RBX leggings, L in Calvin Klein leggings). I purchased the L size and it's a pretty good fit; form fitting with moderate compression in the stomach and not see through that I can tell, although there is a bit of extra fabric behind the knee that might be weird in the water (see pics) and the waist band does roll (but I'm the first to admit that middle aged spread has hit me hard during quaratine).
My only complaint, and the reason for the 4 stars, is that if you hem the leggings at all, you lose most, if not ALL, of the black/white pattern on the bottom. And while I really like the turtle shell pattern, I think the black and white pattern on the calf really breaks it up and elevates the overall look of the legging. I'm 5'6 with what I thought were average length legs, and as you can see in my pictures, the black/white starts much lower on my legs than it does on the women in the website pictures. If I were to hem the leggings to my ankle, there would be only a smidgen of the black and white pattern left. It would be really nice if that part got moved up the leg so you didn't lose it all if you hem.
