When in the water, do as the fish do -- and look like a fish too!

These are fabulous. Wonderful fit. High quality fabric. Thick. (Just a bit slow to dry). And really incredible pattern. I'm having a blast dressing like a parrot fish.
I ordered a too-small top to match, and since I needed a size up top, I went ahead and got the shorts too I like them so much. It feels so good to have a solid layer of protection in the water.

My new favorite

I got these for sun protection when running western rivers in the US during fall and spring. We have Lots of sun and UV exposure, get wet with cold river water and dry again, and often face wind and sometimes sleet in the shoulder seasons. The material is thicker but still very stretchy. They come up higher to the waist so work well sitting in kayaks and canoes, plus are more comfortable. If I need to layer something under my splash pants or dry gear, the fit and stretchiness are perfect. The colors are as vibrant as the pictures show.

ADVOCATE APPAREL INSPIRED BY the Spotted Parrotfish (cetoscarus ocellatus)

While parrotfish come in many amazing colors and patterns, this print is inspired by a male, terminal phase spotted parrotfish, native to the Indo-Pacific. 10% of profits from any purchase of Parrotfish Protection gear will be donated to Reef Relief to improve and protect our coral reef ecosystem through education, advocacy, and grassroots community efforts.

Considered the most effective reef grazer, Parrotfish serve an important function in maintaining the health of coral reefs. In fact, a 2014 IUCN report surveyed the health of Caribbean coral reefs from 1970-2012 and found that one of the most impactful actions we can take to restore the health of coral reef habitat is to protect parrotfish! And if that isn’t reason enough to love these bright and beautiful fish, an individual poops up to 200 lbs of sand a year, a critical source of sediment for beaches! For example, in Vakkaru Island in the Maldives, a 2015 study found that over 85% of their beach sand had been produced by parrotfish!
