The unique scalation on their carapace, flippers and head makes the sea turtle a geometric wonder of patterns and colors. Our print features the earthy tones of Chelonia mydas, commonly known as the green sea turtle, a mysterious and charismatic nomad of tropical and subtropical seas around the planet.

A solitary species that rarely interacts with others outside of mating rituals, sea turtles struggle to survive from the day they hatch out of their egg. Sea turtle mortality rates are depressingly high, about 99% of juveniles will meet their demise before reaching sexual maturity.
6 out of the 7 species of sea turtles are listed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) as either vulnerable or critically endangered. Marine turtles are threatened by pollution, marine plastics and debris, climate change, boat strikes, poaching and bycatch, and habitat loss.
The Marine Turtle Research, Ecology and Conservation Group addresses real-world issues related to the conservation and management of marine turtles and other marine megafauna. Their research is interdisciplinary and applied in nature, and focuses on questions related to the spatial ecology, and behavior of marine megafauna, particularly marine turtles, with the aim of advancing our understanding of the impacts that they face from cumulative and synergetic disturbances, and to determine how to systematically mitigate threats to maximize conservation outcomes.
“Waterlust support allows our lab to collect biological and ecological data on sea turtles both at their foraging and nesting areas, to inform their management and conservation.”

I love the turtle print from waterlust. It’s vibrant and looks so cool under the water. I’ve been wearing it and washed it several times without any problems.
I love everything about my sunsuit. Quality material, it’s feels wonderful on. I’ll be getting another one!!! I live in the Bahamas and will using this a lot!!!
This swim top/bra is INCREDIBLE and I love it
I love that these are reversible. I wear a medium in bra’s (32/34 C) and got a small. It fits pretty good with no major bouncing. The bra has no padding but it also didn’t make me completely flat.
I love how comfortable this top is! So, wether you’re diving or working out it’s comfy and cute. I would love to see these have long sleeves to help protect against the sun! I would buy it asap! 😍🙌🎉
The pattern on the top is amazing and it’s so comfy and supportive at the same time! I got my package and immediately wore the top for about 5 hours. I can’t wait to add to my collection!
