Advocate Apparel Inspired by the green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas)

A solitary species that rarely interacts with others outside of mating rituals, sea turtles struggle to survive from the day they hatch out of their egg. Sea turtle mortality rates are depressingly high, about 99% of juveniles will meet their demise before reaching sexual maturity.

6 out of the 7 species of sea turtles are listed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) as either vulnerable or critically endangered. Marine turtles are threatened by pollution, marine plastics and debris, climate change, boat strikes, poaching and bycatch, and habitat loss.

Awesome Turtle Suit

I look amazing…a turtle super hero of sorts. It feels great, good quality. I did exchange it for an XS because I wanted it a bit snugger for top support. I am a 0 and a 32B but only 5’ 2”. I am going to have the bottoms hemmed.

Comfy and light!

Suit is not too thick and excellent pattern. The cord makes pulling up the suit easy. I wear a medium bra and the medium suit fit perfectly.

LOVE this thing, and the fact that it stays put in the waves

So, as far as looks the print is vibrant and beautiful, I love this design. The fabric feels thick and sturdy, so I'm not worried about having to be careful with snags or anything like that. As far as fit, it's a bit more cheeky than I'm used to and I was worried that the bottom part would end up migrating around in the water. I was pleasantly surprised, and even with strong surf no wedgies were had. With that in mind, I actually feel like it's appropriate because no one is getting flashed when a strong wave tosses me around! For size reference, my measurements are:
5'4.5" height
109 lbs
29" inseam
28" shoulders
32" bust (A-cup)
26" waist
29.5" hip (highest part of hip)
34.5" fullest part of hip

I ordered both the XS and S to try, and felt that the S was more flattering, it didn't push my chest flat and I felt like I could move around more without feeling things being pulled tight. I also have a long torso, which made the small the better option for me.
