Designed for diving, snorkeling, swimming, surfing, kiting, winging... you get the idea. If the ocean is your happy place but you recognize the importance of skin protection, these suits are for you! Versatile too - wear it alone or as a base layer to help you easily slip in and out of your wetsuit on those colder days.
The coral reef ecosystems that cover our globe provide essential food and habitat to over 25% of all marine life. The parrotfish is a common animal found among these ecosystems and are a crucial keystone species, responsible for cleaning the corals of harmful algae. The abundance of parrotfish can be related directly to the health of our coral reef ecosystems.
Our signature fabric is sleek, soft, and luxurious, while strong, substantial, and resilient. It’s got a gummy, supportive, and smoothing stretchiness you’ll love, comfortably hugging you in all the right places.
Main fabric: 88% Repreve® RPET (recycled polyester made from post-consumer plastic bottles), 12% spandex
Zipper: polyacetal resin (tough, high strength thermoplastic)
10% of profits from the sales of this product will be donated to Reef Relief, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving and protecting our coral reef ecosystem.

While parrotfish come in many amazing colors and patterns, this print is inspired by a male, terminal phase spotted parrotfish, native to the Indo-Pacific. Considered the most effective reef grazer, parrotfish serve an important function in maintaining the health of coral reefs. In fact, a 2014 IUCN report surveyed the health of Caribbean coral reefs from 1970-2012 and found that one of the most impactful actions we can take to restore the health of coral reef habitat is to protect parrotfish!

If that isn’t reason enough to love these bright and beautiful fish, an individual poops up to 200 lbs of sand a year, a critical source of sediment for beaches! For example, in Vakkaru Island in the Maldives, a 2015 study found that over 85% of their beach sand had been produced by parrotfish!
Your support helps Reef Relief improve and protect our coral reef ecosystem through education, advocacy, and grassroots community efforts. They have a wide variety of programs educating the public about coral reefs and encouraging community action, including school programs, their Coral Camp for kids, organized clean-ups, stenciling storm drains to discourage dumping, as well as policy work with their straw and sunscreen campaigns.
"Reef Relief is so grateful to expand our message of coral reef conservation through our partnership with Waterlust. They are an incredible company whose goals align with Reef Relief's to protect living coral. By purchasing items from the Parrotfish Protection Line you are giving back to Reef Relief's various educational programs and spreading awareness for coral reefs around the world."

Fit is great and feel of material is amazing can’t wait to put it to use!
I love this wet suit, even though I’ve only tried it on. I do wish it was longer in the torso, I’m a tall person.
This fits my daughter perfectly! She's an avid nature-lover and just loved the print. Applying sunscreen is a real task and with this suit, she doesn't have to at all. When we go kayaking, she's completely covered.
This skin is true to size, super comfortable, and so great looking! The ordering process and customer support have been great. Can't wait to get in the water next week and really give it a workout!
I have a few Slipins that I use for scuba (I usually dive in places where I don't need the thermal protection of a wetsuit but I like to have my skin covered) and this feels heavier duty and was so easy to get on, the fit is fabulous and it just feels really good. I'd love to see more designs and colors. My only feedback would be that I kinda wish the zipper wasn't white, it doesn't match the rest of it and really stands out, a deep blue or even black would have been better. But I can't wait to wear it in the water!
I purchased this suit specifically to go down to the Caribbean. I am an extremely pale person who lives in a northern climate and had absolutely no base tan to speak of and was very worried about burning on the five hour dive trips that I was scheduled for.
This suit was perfect.
The water was warm (25C) and the sun was hot (29C) but I was never at risk of overheating on the surface. The suit was very comfortable to dive with by itself (and, on a later dive, made an excellent rashguard under a 5MM suit that made it vastly easier to get in and out of than a regular suit alone). I did have to wear a separate swim bra underneath because I am very busty (38H in US Size) but didn't feel the need for anything else.
For sizing purposes, this was an XL and I measure in a Size 16/XL US for most tops and 12/14/L in bottoms. I weigh in just under 200 lbs. I could easily have sized down.
