Advocate Apparel Inspired by the spotted parrotfish (cetoscarus ocellatus)

While parrotfish come in many amazing colors and patterns, this print is inspired by a male, terminal phase spotted parrotfish, native to the Indo-Pacific. Considered the most effective reef grazer, parrotfish serve an important function in maintaining the health of coral reefs. In fact, a 2014 IUCN report surveyed the health of Caribbean coral reefs from 1970-2012 and found that one of the most impactful actions we can take to restore the health of coral reef habitat is to protect parrotfish!

The most comfortable and best fitting dive skin for this tall woman!

Waterlust full body sunsuits are the only dive skins I dive in so I hope there will be more patterns available soon because Ive just about collected the lot! I’ve tried dive skins from other popular brands and they’re not comfortable to me, not as good quality and always too short for my legs. In addition, I love that my purchase has a purpose.

For reference I wear a Mighty size in the full body suit and I'm 5'10" about 180lbs, with long legs. The suits stop just above my ankles and my measurements are 35-30-42. A special thanks to the team who made sure I received this particular suit when inventory was low in time for my birthday dive trip not long ago.

Design suggestion for women

Aloha,

Please consider adding darts to the chest area for female suits, as the material is stretching too tightly around the breasts and this will cause strain on the zipper... most likely causing longterm risk of tearing in that region.

Besides the tear risk, it is uncomfortable having my chest squeezed this tightly.

Please look ast SlipIns.com for more comfortable suit designs as it applies to the Appendages (thumb holes and heel holes).

Besides that I really love how thick your fabric is, and the Seams feel more sturdy than SlipIns seams.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my suit. The colors are vibrant underwater and it's super comfy. Quality is great as well, it survived 7 days of 4 dives per day without a problem. Highly recommend!

Ready to dive!

I just got my dive certification this April in preparation for a trip to the BVIs in July. This was my first “Congratulations” gift to myself. I’m so excited to wear this and really standout 😊

It’s perfect

I have looked all over for a plus size dive skin/sun skin that was not just black. I wanted bright colors so I could been seen in the water. Most women’s rash guards are 2 pieces and don’t stay where you want them. I thought the price was steep but I finally caved and I am so glad I did. I am an apple shape with a 50” waist and the 3x is a perfect snug fit. The material is much thicker than your standard swimsuit and it feels amazing on. I cannot wait to get to enjoy the sun again.

Cool suit I’ll use for scuba diving

I had hoped to use this suit for hanging out on the beach but I find the material too heavy and too warm for that purpose so I will use it for scuba diving in warmer waters. The XL fit well (I am 5’10” and 170 lbs). The quality is good and I’m pleased.
