The interface where air and water meet is a magical place, the physical crossroad where terrestrial and aquatic life on Earth interact. But not only is it our gateway to the submersed, but the water's surface is also where heat is transferred to and from the atmosphere. Imagine this energy flowing through you the next time you float suspended between these two worlds.

Approximately 40% of humans on Earth live within 100km of the ocean and currently 190 million people globally live at elevations below the projected high tide line for 2100 under low carbon emission conditions. In other words, the water is coming and we need to prepare!
Coastal resiliency is a term used to describe the ability of a community to “bounce back" after hazardous events such as hurricanes, coastal storms, and flooding – rather than simply reacting to impacts, and it is becoming one of the most important fields of study in science & engineering.
At the Alfred C. Glassell Jr. SUSTAIN Laboratory at the Rosenstiel School of Marine & Atmospheric Science, scientists utilize a state of the art wind/wave tank to better understand these intricacies. 10% of your purchase will be donated to support the graduate students that work in this lab. Specifically, the funds will be used for creative projects that enable the students to communicate their work to the broader public such as through film, photography and art.
"The SUSTAIN laboratory's collaboration with Waterlust has been a great way to engage students in outreach. So many of them at all levels are interested in bringing our research on hurricanes and climate resilience to the general public. I also often show some of the Waterlust videos in my classes to highlight to the students how engaging this work can be when presented in an interesting way."

I love love LOVE these tights. I have them in several different patterns. I got these ones six (!) years ago and they're still going strong, despite wearing them for running, aerial silks, guiding and general adventuring. The leg pockets are great, perfect size for a smartphone in a sturdy outdoor case. The sizing runs a tad small, I'm size M and 5'6.
These were amongst the first waterlust leggings I purchased (I got the while shark and sailfish (since discontinued) and it’s a gorgeous print! I have their older style in this which had a thicker double layer waist with an additional pocket and seam at the waist - the newer versions don’t have that and are more comfortable comparatively.
I’m 5’6” 125-130lbs and wear size Strong. When I used to be 10-15 lbs heavier, Medium fit me better.
I get a lot of compliments on these as a dive instructor, the colors are perfect for where I teach in the caribbean. Some of my students call them my mermaid legs.
I own multiple sets of leggings from Waterlust, but this was the first pair that I bought 5 years ago. They're still great! As a scuba pro, I've gotten tons of wear in chlorinated water as well as salt and fresh and with plenty of sun--there's been essentially no loss to the elasticity or fading to the color! The wide waistband is flattering and stays in place, even when trying to shimmy in and our of wetsuits. Texture is also great and makes getting into and out of them easy, even if they're wet from the last dive. The only caveat to a 5+ star rating is that the durability means they are slightly heavier and dry a bit more slowly compared to some other fabrics.
This is fantastic company and a really beautiful outfit. I bought the leggings, reversible top and the hooded sun shirt. I can’t wait to wear it at the beach during snorkeling/swimming. Bought it especially for jellyfish protection. I’ll feel secure in this. You guys are the best!
I love them but the stitching on the inside leaves marks on my legs and hurts after a while.
