Made in California from 100% ringspun organic cotton and screen printed using bio-based, renewable algae ink, providing a soft hand feel and excellent wash durability. At large-scale production, algae black pigments are carbon negative! Algae absorb atmospheric carbon dioxide and that carbon gets “locked” into the bio-based black pigment for over 100 years.

Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) Certified, the worldwide leading standard for organic textiles like cotton. GOTS certification ensures our cotton is pure and ethically sourced and is made without chemical pesticides, forced labor, child labor, or unfair wages.

The AAUS Diversity Scholarship was created to address an important problem: that recreational scuba diving is a privileged sport. Training costs money, the gear is expensive, and getting to dive sites adds up. When an aspiring marine scientist needs to dive to do their work but can’t afford to get their Open Water Scuba Certification, it creates a barrier to entry that hurts us all. It steers talented up & coming researchers into other fields and reduces the diversity that is essential to solving the world’s hardest problems.

The scholarship is targeted to those from underrepresented groups in diving, based on personal background, as demonstrated by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, educational experience, socioeconomic background, cultural heritage, race and ethnicity, and geographic origin. It covers an open water scuba course including online modules, confined water dives, open water dives, gear rental for the course, processing fees, and personal mask, fins, and snorkel.

Comfortable and Gorgeous

Fantastic shirt. I love the unique and beautiful design. Softer than I anticipated. Fits as expected (greatly appreciated the size chart and pictures). And it goes towards a good cause. I will definitely buy more shirts from Waterlust in the future.

It looks exactly like the cephalopods tee :(

I received my tee on Wednesday, and the color and graphic are not what I ordered, instead, I received the cephalopods tee.
I paid for fed ex 2-day shipping and sent an email to customer service immediately after opening my package and discovering the error, which was now FOUR days ago. I haven’t heard anything else, and there really isn’t any other option to receive support.
I would have skipped the 1-star review, had I received the item I paid for, or even received more than a generic message from customer support in the last four days.

Hi Sunny - just wanted to let you know that Patrick responded to your email one day after we received it apologizing for our mistake and letting you know that you can keep that tee if you’d like. He also let you know that we put the correct tee in the mail for you immediately and it’s already out for delivery so you should receive it today. It’s possible that email ended up in your spam as I’m assuming you didn’t see it, so please check there and let us know if you need anything else. We’re always happy to help!

We don’t offer free shipping on returns or exchanges for a reason. Transporting items in planes, trains, ships, and trucks is one of the biggest environmental costs of our business, and we think it’s important that our policies reflect that. We offer two options: 1) pay up front and you can send your order back to us within 60 days at no extra cost or 2) wait until you receive your order and pay our $9.95 flat-rate return postage fee if you decide to send something back later on.
