Advocate Apparel Inspired by the green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas)

A solitary species that rarely interacts with others outside of mating rituals, sea turtles struggle to survive from the day they hatch out of their egg. Sea turtle mortality rates are depressingly high, about 99% of juveniles will meet their demise before reaching sexual maturity.

6 out of the 7 species of sea turtles are listed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) as either vulnerable or critically endangered. Marine turtles are threatened by pollution, marine plastics and debris, climate change, boat strikes, poaching and bycatch, and habitat loss.

Perfect for Florida sun

The fit of small was right on for a 5’5”, 115 lb female. Only one problem and that is the neck band. It’s a bit tight when fully zipped. Believe that I can stretch it out just enough to be comfortable . Love the recycled material. Who knew that plastic bottles could be so comfortable?! The suit is perfect paired with the leggings for paddle boarding. Saves putting on sun screen over and over all day.

Great details

It’s got great details from the thumb hole with extra padding to the zipper with the wetsuit string to help zip it up. Fits well according to their recommended sizes.

I love my turtle super suit!

I got the sun suit and matching leggings for an upcoming scuba trip and I love the placement of the pattern and feel like a turtle superhero when wearing them together. I also like being able to wear the leggings separately for hiking.

Live it

I absolutely believe in living my beliefs and being able to recycle to the extent that some of the rubbish I have contributed to bringing out of the sea may have contributed to my or someone else’s clothes is good. The quality of the clothes is of the highest quality- given it came from US to UK delivery times were tremendous- I believe it is value for money inters of both the sun suit and leggings though - the added cost of custom imports were rather more than expected ( I do appreciate this is outwith the control of the fabulous team at waterlust)

A satisfied Sea Turtle Lover

These tights are completely awesome! The material is top notch, beautifully colored with an incredible design. They have a tremendous amount of support and are thick enough for this old lady (74) to wear them out in public. I am 5’3”and 108 pounds and the smallest size fits me perfectly. It works well with the long sleeved top, I ordered to match. They are a great product and I highly recommend them.

Love it

The turtle print is so fun. I originally received a XS but exchanged it for a Small...it was a easy process and Waterlust shipped the new size out immediately. The XS fit but was snug around my shoulders, I think if it got wet the material would stretch and not be so tight. But because I am primarily wearing it for surfing, the size small is better and allows for more movement in the suit. The wrist is pretty loose on me though and I do wish the hem on the bottom was designed differently and had more stretch to it. I'm around 112 lbs, athletic build, and 5'3.5"
