The coral reef ecosystems that cover our globe provide essential food and habitat to over 25% of all marine life. The parrotfish is a common animal found among these ecosystems and are a crucial keystone species, responsible for cleaning the corals of harmful algae. The abundance of parrotfish can be related directly to the health of our coral reef ecosystems.
Our signature fabric is sleek, soft, and luxurious, while strong, substantial, and resilient. It’s got a gummy, supportive, and smoothing stretchiness you’ll love, comfortably hugging you in all the right places.
Main fabric: 88% Repreve® RPET (recycled polyester made from post-consumer plastic bottles), 12% spandex
Zipper: polyacetal resin (tough, high strength thermoplastic)

While parrotfish come in many amazing colors and patterns, this print is inspired by a male, terminal phase spotted parrotfish, native to the Indo-Pacific. Considered the most effective reef grazer, parrotfish serve an important function in maintaining the health of coral reefs. In fact, a 2014 IUCN report surveyed the health of Caribbean coral reefs from 1970-2012 and found that one of the most impactful actions we can take to restore the health of coral reef habitat is to protect parrotfish!

If that isn’t reason enough to love these bright and beautiful fish, an individual poops up to 200 lbs of sand a year, a critical source of sediment for beaches! For example, in Vakkaru Island in the Maldives, a 2015 study found that over 85% of their beach sand had been produced by parrotfish!
Your support helps Reef Relief improve and protect our coral reef ecosystem through education, advocacy, and grassroots community efforts. They have a wide variety of programs educating the public about coral reefs and encouraging community action, including school programs, their Coral Camp for kids, organized clean-ups, stenciling storm drains to discourage dumping, as well as policy work with their straw and sunscreen campaigns.
"Reef Relief is so grateful to expand our message of coral reef conservation through our partnership with Waterlust. They are an incredible company whose goals align with Reef Relief's to protect living coral. By purchasing items from the Parrotfish Protection Line you are giving back to Reef Relief's various educational programs and spreading awareness for coral reefs around the world."

I love the Parrotfish body suit and ordered 2 sizes to check them out. I love the pattern and design but it's actually too much coverage, if that makes any sense. I love your company's guiding vision and Iove your products. These just didn't work for me.
This looks pretty much like in the pictures and fits great! It's snug but not too tight. It's especially nice that it's not super tight around the abdomen and also doesn't have a bunch of extra fabric there either, so it's not accentuating any areas we might be sensitive about and the zipper doesn't dig in. Very happy with it and I'll be using it for scuba diving pool sessions in the near future
Waterlust full body sunsuits are the only dive skins I dive in so I hope there will be more patterns available soon because Ive just about collected the lot! I’ve tried dive skins from other popular brands and they’re not comfortable to me, not as good quality and always too short for my legs. In addition, I love that my purchase has a purpose.
For reference I wear a Mighty size in the full body suit and I'm 5'10" about 180lbs, with long legs. The suits stop just above my ankles and my measurements are 35-30-42. A special thanks to the team who made sure I received this particular suit when inventory was low in time for my birthday dive trip not long ago.
Aloha,
Please consider adding darts to the chest area for female suits, as the material is stretching too tightly around the breasts and this will cause strain on the zipper... most likely causing longterm risk of tearing in that region.
Besides the tear risk, it is uncomfortable having my chest squeezed this tightly.
Please look ast SlipIns.com for more comfortable suit designs as it applies to the Appendages (thumb holes and heel holes).
Besides that I really love how thick your fabric is, and the Seams feel more sturdy than SlipIns seams.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my suit. The colors are vibrant underwater and it's super comfy. Quality is great as well, it survived 7 days of 4 dives per day without a problem. Highly recommend!
I just got my dive certification this April in preparation for a trip to the BVIs in July. This was my first “Congratulations” gift to myself. I’m so excited to wear this and really standout 😊
