Comfortable and secure

I love the seamless design. I usually wear a rashguard and often a wetsuit or similar tight exposure suit when snorkeling or diving, and I struggle to find women's swimsuit tops without buckles or ties that fit comfortably under other swim clothes. This top fits very comfortably and is great as a swim top or a tank top. It offers a fair bit of coverage, for sun protection or just security/comfort, compared to similar sports bras or swim tops. It offers enough support and is thick enough that I don't need a bra when wearing it as a shirt, although my cup size is small. I love the reversible pattern. Because of the snug design and thick fabric, this top can be a bit challenging to get off, but it is doable, and most swim tops without buckles or ties present a similar challenge.

Thanks for the great customer service in processing my exchange and responding so promptly to my emails! I’d say this top runs true to size. I’m 5’8” and around 125 lbs and the medium fits well. I get soooo many compliments on my tops and leggings!

Athletic Swim Top

I have a hard time finding swim tops that are built athletically let alone using sustainable materials. This top is beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for swimming! I love that it is durable, sustainable, and supports research/conservation!

Love this top, super unique and happy to support a good cause

I love this top! It is very cute, and I love that it is double-sided (like 2 in 1!) The material doesn't seem to hold on to sweat smell as readily as some others, so that's a bonus (can wear multiple times before washing!) The material is definitely thick and not stretchy at all. I am 5'3, 118 pounds and somewhere between a 34B and a 36B depending on the brand, so I fit very snugly into the XS/SM. If my chest was any bigger I would be uncomfortable in this top. Right now, it is snug but not tight. I think the Medium would be too billowy around the waistline, so I am keeping this top and hoping it stretches out a bit over time. Still giving it 5 stars because it looks awesome, feels awesome, will definitely "hold everything in place" during physical activity, and I love the company's mission!

Dr. Fuentes with loggerhead turtle

A solitary species that rarely interacts with others outside of mating rituals, sea turtles struggle to survive from the day they hatch out of their egg. Sea turtle mortality rates are depressingly high, about 99% of juveniles will meet their demise before reaching sexual maturity. Dr. Mariana Fuentes is a marine conservation biologist at Florida State University and focuses her research on developing science-based solutions for the conservation and management of sea turtles. Her research group integrates field-based ecology with systematic conservation planning, decision theory approaches, climate modeling and applied qualitative and geographic spatial analysis to answer a series of ecological and management topics related to sea turtles.

10% of profits from your purchase will be donated to theFSU Marine Turtle Research, Ecology and Conservation Group, led by Dr. Mariana Fuentes, and will be used to fund two projects. The first initiative is to assess the effects that the recreational bay scallop fishery has on sea turtles in the Big Bend of Florida. Researchers will collect biological, ecological and spatial data on sea turtles in the region and use it to inform management practices to better protect these endangered species. The second is to increase night monitoring of St. George Island, Florida and to identify threats to turtles nesting there. The information gained will aid in identifying critical habitats and provide important information to better understand the size, nesting behaviors, and movements of sea turtles in the region.
