Every time we make clothing from a roll of fabric, there are some “scraps” that get left behind. This lonely material, known as “pre-consumer” waste, contributes significantly to the environmental footprint of clothing. Enter headbands! Made from the leftover recycled material used for our leggings, our headbands are quick drying, moisture wicking and breathable while also enabling us to reduce our pre-consumer waste.

Updated design for less slip and added versatility. Wide width (3”) to protect your hair from your mask while diving, or to soak up that extra sweat from your most killer workouts.

Materials: 88% Repreve® RPET (recycled polyester made from post-consumer plastic bottles), 12% spandex

Love these products!!!

I’m big on on protecting our oceans and unabashed about showing it. I wear them scrunchies on my wrists and am growing out my hair so I can make more proper use of them. I’m already wearing the headbands to hold back the hair I do have. #lovewaterlust!!!

Great headband!

I bought this because a new headband is great, but also to get a hands-on feel for the material before buying larger pieces like a hoodie or leggings. Happy to report I like it very much, stretchy and soft, AND made from remnants of recycled material. Thanks Waterlust!

Absolutely Amazing 👏

These are literally the best headbands I have ever owned. I got 3 as a brithday gift and i just absolutely love them. I first tried one of these on a snorkeling trip in hawaii. I have VERY long hair and my snorkel clip kept getting stuck in my braids. My tour guide kindly offered me on of hers and it changed everything
I'm never going into the water without one on!! They stay put while I work( I'm a pizza tosser/cook- a lot of moving and hot ovens) and don't make my head hot like every other headband i have. The material is so comfy and soft. It doesn't slip and slide. Not to mention the fact it's scrap material, so nothing is being wasted. Waterlust you are an amazing company!!! You have a new customer for life!

Slips off :(

Very cute but the fabric just slips right off. Got the turtle patterned one. Realised other reviewers said the same thing in the past so this design flaw hasn't been addressed. To anyone planning to buy the headbands: don't. Get the scrunchies instead.

Hi Barkha! Thanks so much for your feedback and sorry to hear the headband is slipping from your head. For many folks, the headbands stay put extremely well. Many of us no longer workout or dive without them! We completely understand that given the nature of this product being a one size item, made from scraps, they will not always work for everyone, but feel that for how well they work for many, and their use to divert waste, these are well worth making. As always, if you're not satisfied with your purchase, we will happily take these back for a full refund or exchange. Just visit https://waterlust.com/pages/shipping-returns-and-exchanges or reach out to us at hello@waterlust.com with any questions.
