A little thicker material than expected but colors and pattern and fit are all great!

Big love

So comfy, thicker than expected (which is a bonus as I purchased it for winter cold water swimming) and very good quality.
Amazing fit, I’m UK 10/12 and purchased the medium.

Amazing!

Fit beautifully! Incredible fabric. Well-made. Cannot wait to take it out in the Gulf to test out. :) (Coverage in back did feel a bit revealing, but it may have to do with my physical attributes rather than bathingsuit cut.)

Really happy

I have not had a chance to wear this in the water yet. The fit and coverage are great. I have skin cancer and need to be super careful. This should definitely help! Also love that it’s made from recycled materials.

Exactly right in every way

I love this set! The colors are brilliant...stunning both in and out of the water. I am a self-proclaimed fabric snob and am blown away by both the feel of the material and the overall quality of the cut and stitching. I guess that is what happens when marine scientists turn apparel aficionados :-) I am 5 ft. 8 in tall and weigh 125 lbs. I followed the online size guide, and the fit for the suit, top and leggings is accurate...just the right amount of stretch to cover all the right places but still feel sporty. Each piece is great on its own for warm water freediving. One bonus is pulling the matching leggings over the sun suit for full coverage in colder waters. The weight of the fabric is terrific for that kind of layering. Now, my only issue is wanting a set in every pattern!

Just what I was looking for

The suit is durable, flattering, and super cute! I cant wait to use it to cover my tattoos on the river, and play around in the ocean! Love it!

ADVOCATE APPAREL INSPIRED BY The sassy sea snail

Abalone is the common name for a variety of marine snails that are found throughout the world’s oceans. Sought after for their meat and their beautiful shells, populations have declined rapidly and some species are now critically endangered. Our relationship with abalone illustrates the challenges of overexploitation of the marine environment. Until the 1980’s, it was widely thought that abalone populations were resilient and could effectively rebound from harvesting activities. Unfortunately, that has not proven to be true.

Abalone are “broadcast spawners,” meaning that two individuals must be within three feet of one another to sexually reproduce. This type of reproduction makes population recovery very challenging, driving the need for humans to intervene. Marine biologist Nancy Caruso is doing just that, and founded Get Inspired, a non-profit organization that specializes in marine conservation & education.

Besides physically growing juvenile abalone along California’s coast and populating them back into the coastal kelp forest marine habitat, Nancy recognizes that protecting the ocean in the future requires educating children today. That is why she has launched a 10 year initiative to grow 100,000 abalone in classrooms across the golden state and restore them along the southern California coast, inspiring and utilizing the help of the next generation of scientists along the way. 10% of profits from your purchase will be donated to this restoration effort.
